Special Olympics. This event will be held on the same weekend that many
of us are attending the Nationals. If you are not going to Milwaukee,
please volunteer to help out at this great event! Besides, you never
know but this could help us to get back to HealthSouth someday.

To the SCSSA:

Hi there. Hope that all is well.

The Southern California Special Olympics have again requested assistance
from the SCSSA. They are holding their State
Championships on Sunday, March 23 from 12 - 1:15 at HealthSouth Training
Center in El Segundo.

We provided officials, block chasers, starters, pads, blocks, a lapstand
and a starters pistol for their event last year.

I realize that this is the same weekend as National Short Track.
However, some of our skaters and officials who are not going to
Nationals may want to help the Special Olympics. And, it would seem to
be a good weekend to be able to loan them some pads, blocks and other
equipment.

Please let me know if the SCSSA is able to help this very good cause.
