Calling all bikers and their parents!
What we still need to make this bike-a-thon a success.
1. More riders to sign up, first of all! Please sign up at the check-
in desk. We need to know how many riders, so we don't leave without
anyone.
2. An adult rider volunteer to lead the 10 mile ride with the
younger riders.
3. More parent volunteers to be at the ten mile check points for
safety and water checks.
4. Donated water bottles for these check points.
5. A few small first aid kits put together for each 10 mile check
point, in case of emergency.
At this point, we only have one parent volunteer. We need more. Or
some adult skaters that are not riding, may also be at check points
to help.
Remember, the bike-a-thon is followed by a barbecue and pool party at
the Rusk house in Corona. Everyone must bring their own meat to
grill, a side dish to share and drinks. Don't forget your towels and
bathing suits!
Let's make this a really successful first fundraiser for the upcoming
season.
Please do remember that membership to DeMorra means participation in
fundraising. There is a $250 buy-out fee, if you do not help!
