We want to remind everyone that the bike-a-thon is coming up on
Sunday, June 22nd.

Begins at the Wheeler house: 11121 Saratoga Dr., Los Alamitos - 7 AM
Ends at the Rusk home: 2242 Rancho Corona Dr., Corona - Time TBD

This is the first fundraiser for our upcoming season to help Ice Club
DeMorra keep our ice prices where they are, so let's make it a
successful one! Pledge forms and sign-up sheets are at the check-in
desk at the rink.

The Bike-a-thon is a fun fundraiser and part of training! Get your
pledges from friends and family. It can be a flat donation or by the
mile (approx. 50). There is a ten mile ride for those younger and
less experienced riders.

The ride is followed by a barbecue and pool party at the Rusk house.
Please bring your own meat to grill, a side dish to share and drinks.
Also, don't forget your TOWELS and bathing suits.

Jean and I will also need volunteer parents to be at 10 mile
increments of the ride for safety checks. This is where the rider can
stop for water and/or medical attention, should it be needed
(hopefully not). We need volunteers! And donated water bottles to
have ready at each stop. Please let Jean or I know.

Fundraising is so important to the club. What you pay for each ice
session, does not cover the ice costs. ALL members are expected to
do 3/4 of fundraising or pay a buy out fee of $250.
