- De Morra Speed Skating Club is back on the ice at Lakewood this Wednesday, May 28 at the usual time; 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM. Its a great time of the year to bring a friend to try speed skating.
- SCSSA Banquet - everyone is invited. Saturday afternoon, June 7. Me-n-Ed's Pizza Parlor. 4115 Paramount Blvd., Lakewood. 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM everyone is encouraged to attend.
- SCSSA Board Meeting. Saturday June 14 at Glacial Gardens in Lakewood. Let's get started at 4 PM. Agenda items include; approval to submit a new grant proposal to the Foundation, discussion of proposed race schedule, discussion of new rules from USS, and a variety of administrative items. Everyone is welcome. Board Members, please make a special effort to attend. If anyone has agenda items to suggest, please email them to me at sperles@....
- Advanced skater ice starts on Tuesday, June 3 at Lakewood. Everyone is welcome but there may not be a novice coach on the ice. Any questions, please send me an email sperles@... or chat with De Morra Club President, Robert Ahlke or with Coach Boomstra.
