Request for help: Wrigley Field   Message List

I have been working hard on an accurate history of Washington Park, Brooklyn,
and was struck by the similarity between the remaining wall on Third Avenue and
the outer wall at Wrigley Field. I'm thinking of these shots:

Is that wall under the bleachers part of the original Weeghman Park? Does anyone
have a better photo of the bricks, especially the layered part near the top? If
not, is anyone in Chicago willing to take a trip and get a pic or two, please?

I also found this in the Brooklyn Eagle, Kiki Cuyler trotting home to score at
Wrigley in 1932:

The pillars either side of the foul pole there also bear a striking resemblance
to parts of the wall in Brooklyn. I presume they are long gone in Chicago - does
anyone have a higher quality picture showing that part of the wall?

Thank you so much for any help!
