Retrosheet lists all of the Boston Nationals (Braves) home games as
being at South End Grounds I. I've been looking through the 1878
Boston Daily Advertiser, and it generally describes the games as
being played at South End or the base ball park. But the August 19
issue, reviewing the game of August 17, says it was played at the
Union grounds. Does anyone know if this was another ball field
sometimes used by the NL team?
On the other hand, the Advertiser of June 28, 1878 mentions the Union
Athletic Club as playing at the Boston baseball grounds, presumably
South End Grounds.
