Steven: from my experience, there are several 'good' sources for the data you are gathering. Should not be a surprise that some of the information is inconsistent. There is one source I suggest that you avoid; it is "Baseball Sourcebook : Diamond Diagrams". Numerous obvious errors, which I am willing to share with you, if you are interested. Samples: claim that the RF wall of Shibe park sloped downward from RF to CF (it was level all the way) ; diagram showing the LF and RF walls of the Polo Grounds as convergent in the direction of CF ( fact - they were parallel, but not equidistant from the HP to CF centerline). Many more: enough IMHO to discredit the book as a useful source.
