I believe that the number of WPA-era ballparks will astound most people. It is much greater than I had ever anticipated. The best example is probably Buffalo War Memorial Stadium.

 

And although the era mentioned is 1934-41, the WPA's bureaucratic predecessors even had something to do with parks built even earlier than 1934, such as the LA Coliseum and Cleveland Municipal Stadium.
