Info on early CIN ballparks from Green Cathedrals:

 

Lincoln Park Grounds- LOCATION 

In Lincoln Park, next to the Union Railroad Terminal

 

Avenue Grounds- LOCATION 

(N) Monmouth St, (W) Mill Creek, (S) Alabama Ave, (E) Baltimore and Ohio RR

tracks 

 

Not clear if this is the same site.  A 1870s map of CIN would show if the streets that bounded Avenue Grounds were in Lincoln Park.   

 

 

CHI ballparks:

 

Northside Park in CHI - (home of the Cuban Stars in Cincinnati for the 1921 Negro National League season) is not listed in the 2006 edition of Green Cathedrals at this time.
