David:  Thanks for a look at the proposed Mets' ballpark.  Yes, the entrance behind HP looks familiar.  As does the overall design - another HOK offering in the Comerica / CBP style.  Not as extreme as those two examples, but it does look as if someone put a baseball park in the middle of a shopping mall.  Certainly true of CBP (I live in southern NJ).  Other than imitating the HP entrance, what other features, if any, are borrowed from Ebbets ?

 

I do prefer the styling of the retroparks to the 'concrete doughnuts' they replaced; just wish more remembrance of the classic era was included.
