For those Ballpark List members attending the national convention in Seattle, there are three ballpark oriented oral research presentations scheduled for the SABR convention.  All three will be in the Federal Room and will be on Saturday July 1.

 

At 12:00 Noon:  Richard A. Smiley and Mark L. Peel on the Chicago Base Ball Assn and the Birth of the 23 Street Grounds

 

At 1:30 PM:  Bob McGee on Ebbets Field-The Greatest Ballpark Ever

 

At 2:00:  Ron Selter on Home Runs In the Deadball Era-this presentation draws on the varied Deadball Era ballpark configurations and their influence on home runs
