The Phillies announced this afternoon that work to reshape the left field wall has begun. The old wall, the 22 inch railing, the flower bed, and two rows (a total of 196 seats in Sections 141-146) will be removed. The new wall will be 10 feet, 6 inches tall, 2 feet, 6 inches higher than the original wall. The left field foul pole will still be 329 feet, and the new wall will angle back five feet and go across left field to Section 146.
