Here's an apparently unrecognized accomplishment for Hack Wilson that
I came across on his daily sheets. On August 24, 1927, he had 6 extra-
base hits in the doubleheader to tie the known major league record.

He had a double and a homer in game one and two doubles and two homers
in game two.

Another (slightly more recent) record is the Red Sox ongoing streak of
errorless games. They have currently gone 17 straight games without
being charged with an error, which is a new major league record.
Going into Saturday, the streak is still ongoing.
