My nephew asked me this question recently and I didn't know the answer: is a
quality start usually awarded to a pitcher who pitches a run-shortened complete
game less than 6 innings? I realize quality starts is not an official stat, but
he was just wondering how those who keep track of these things typically handled
shortened games.
