Probably you already noticed, but ...
Last Sunday (5/14), San Diego's Clay Hensley struck out 5 times, while teammate Brian Giles walked 5 times. Apparently both of these "achievements" tied major league records (for 9 innings). For no good reason, I'm wondering if this has ever happened before.
Also unworthy of note: By shutting out the Cubs 9-0, Hensley also tied the record (held by many) for fewest runs allowed in 9 innings.
I didn't say this was important. Just odd.
