Alex Rios of the Blue Jays currently has a 23-game hitting streak vs.
the Yankees. Elias Sports Bureau says that it's the longest hitting
streak vs. the Yanks since Charlie Gehringer hit in 31 in a row vs. the
Yankees from 1935-1936.
A lot of people in this group probably remember Vladimir Guerrero's 44-
game streak vs. the Rangers. Does anyone know of any other long
streaks vs. certain teams? I can use baseball-reference.com's PI
program to find them back to 1956, but I've got a feeling that there
were a lot of them before then.
By the way, Ichiro Suzuki currently has a 26 game hitting streak vs.
the Royals...
