On the subject of Ty Cobb, I wanted to let everyone know that my
database of every game Cobb played in (all 3034 of them) is up on the
SABR website at: http://www.sabr.org/cmsfiles/McCotter-
CobbDatabase.xls . Click on the tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet
to move between the Splits and the Database. Thanks to Rod Nelson for
setting it all up.

Hopefully it'll be of some use to anyone researching Cobb or part of
his career.

Note that I have incorporated several errors found in his record, so
he's at 4189 career hits, 2248 runs, and 901 steals.
