I think these two guys were left off list 284 in the new SABR Baseball
List & Record Book:

most consec. games with a home run:
7-Barry Bonds, SF NL, 2004, 8 homers
6-Mark McGwire, OAK/STL AL/NL, 1997-1998, 7 homers

I think I see why both were left out accidentally: Bonds had one game
in the streak where all of his PAs resulted in walks (not breaking the
streak per MLB rule 10.23(b), and McGwire's was over two seasons and
thus harder to find.
