John Gill Valentine is currently listed as having had a 2-10 W-L record with the 1883 Columbus AA team.

However, I have him at 3-9 with wins on 5/3/83 v Louisville, 7/13/83 v St. Louis and then on 8/3/83 v Louisville in his last ML appearance.

Before any of us combs the entire Columbus season to learn who on the team's staff should be credited with one less win and who with one more loss, does anyone happen to know where the discrepancy lies?
