Lyle: Using the Box Score in the 11 August 1886 TSL (The Sporting Life) I have the Double by Fulmer in the Sixth inning with One out. In Five innings: Ramsey faced 16 batters. Scott was hit by pitch to open sixth inning. Scott was forced at Second on Kilroy's FC and Kilroy stole second Base. Fulmer Doubled Kilroy home and the game was tied at 1-1. Baltimore had 40 BFP's (36 outs, 3 BB's & 1 HP=40). The BB's were O'Connell, Muldoon & Davis. In the twelfth, Davis was the last batter. In this same edition on page one Bill White said that the Hit by O'Connell was an error that was scored as a hit. Column was written by "Rats" and called "Louisville News". Only three men were listed as being on base in TSL.

On July 31, 1886 Toad Ramsey of Louisville pitched a 12 inning one-hitter against Baltimore. According to the box score in TSN, the Orioles only hit was a double by Chris Fulmer, but I was unable to determine the inning in which Fulmer got his hit. Just wondering if anyone happens to have that information.Lyle Spatz
