The SABRvets eGroup is a restricted and unmoderated discussion group for members of The Society for American Baseball Research - Armed Forces and Baseball Research Committee. This is a group dedicated to accumulating data about ballplayers who have served in the military or were replacements for those who did. These data are used to manage a data base posted in the CMS area of SABR and to communicate between members of the SABR Baseball and the Armed Forces Research Committee. As time goes on, other projects relating to baseball and the Armed Forces will be discussed and posted here.
