San Francisco (July 26) will be my first marathon and longest run ever.
Yesterday I did my peak training run of 21 miles at 8:45 min pace, and I don't
even feel that sore. Did a 20 mile run two weeks ago too. Plus I've been doing
some hill training. I'm looking to run 3:50-4:00 but won't complain if it's a
little slower. 100% of my running has been barefoot. Fact: I started running 6
years ago after discovering runningbarefoot.org, with the express purpose of
running a marathon barefoot. I feel pretty prepared! Anyway we'll see how it
goes.
