Vibram Five Fingers!!! WHOA!!!   Message List

Well, I got my pair in the mail last saturday... What was the first
thing I did? Well I put them on and went on an easy 10 mile run!!!
Here is my review!
I LOVE THEM!! I live in UTAH where the roads are not well kept so
barefooting for me is all in the city as the chip seal in UTAH is like
sharred glass! I have only been barefooting since last summer, but I
can tell you that it feels the same to me as when I am barefoot. The
only difference is that I can stand to run on the chipseal out at my
house!!!

Do you still feel the rocks?
YES!! I found that out by not watching and stepping on 2 sharp ones..
It still hurts...
Does it still feel like barefooting?
Well to me it was the closest thing I could feel. The way I would
describe running in these is like running on the smoothest sidewalk!!
I had to order mine in via mail, and will be ordering another pair..
When In shoes I wear a 10.5 but in these the next pair I get will be a
10 as it will fit just right!!

Ted, how was the wear after the marathon on the ones you wore? I have
only put 20 miles on mine so far but these things seem to be built to
last!! Good thing considering the price, but for someone who loves to
run and has a hard time with chip seal, 70.00 is well worth the 30+
miles a week!!! Will run my FIRST marathon this spring in these for
sure... I am sure I will get razzed as I have on my run a few times...
I was called Frodo this morning!!!
Best to all
