This is a very limited weekend for roller derby action.

On Friday, the Rock and Rollergirls of Central Kentucky will host Let Freedom
Rock. Their home team will skate against the Radioactive City Rollergirls of
Paducah, Kentucky. This bout will take place at the Lexington Ice Center, 560
Eureka Springs Drive in Lexington, Kentucky. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the bout
scheduled to start at 8 o'clock. Tickets are $7 in advance for this event. For

On Saturday the Victorian Roller Derby league will presents Carnagelle. Along
with VRD, the Sunstate Roller Girls and Ceelong Roller Derby League will be
skating in this event. Action will take place at Puckhandlers on 2-48 Blake
Street in Reservoir (near Melbourne), Victoria, Australia. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Montreal Roller Derby will be in action Saturday. Les Filles du Roi will
take on La Racaille. Action will take place at the Arena Saint-Louis, 5633

scheduled for 7 o'clock. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. For

Saturday, the Roc City Roller Derby will hold Skates Fly on the Fourth of July.
The league will divide up into two teams as the Black team takes on the Green
team. This bout will take place at Genessee Valley Sports Complex, 131 Elmwood
Avenue in Rochester, New York. Doors are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with the
bout scheduled to roll at 6 o'clock. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the

On Sunday, the Texas Rollergirls will hold their monthly double header. The
Hustlers will skate against the Hotrod Honeys and the Hell Marys will take on
the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers. This double header will take place at Playland
Skate Center, 8822 McCann Drive in Austin, Texas. Tickets are $10 from skaters,
$12 in advance and $15 at the door. Doors open at Playland at 6:30 p.m. Action
