Without knowing the venue location, I have made reservations to the South
Central Regionals in Atlanta. My air fare was made through Priceline for $289,
a $240 bid with tax and landing fees added. I also took a big chance and put in
a bid for a downtown/midtown Atlanta hotel for $48 a night (4 nights) on
Priceline. Now, if the venue is at Yaarab Shrine auditorium on Ponce De Leon, I
am 1.6 miles from there. If it is someplace else, not in the vicinity, I did
get cancellation insurance for $5 a night just in case they move to a venue not
in the area.

So I am set to head to Atlanta September 24 through September 28th.
