Roller Derby this weekend starts off tonight with a championship
match. Brew City Bruisers will hold their championship event and
consolation game tonight at Grandma Got Run Over by a Rollergirl. The
bout will be held at the Milwaukee County Sports complex, 6000 W.
Ryan Road in Franklin, Wisconsin. In the feature bout, Maiden
Milwaukee will play the Shevil Knevils. In the consolation match the
Rushin Rollettes will play the Crazy Eights. The doors open at 5
p.m. with the bout scheduled to start at 7 o'clock. Tickets are $10

On Saturday there are several events going on. WFTDA #2 ranked
Tucson Saddletramps, fresh off of a victory over top ranked Texas
Rollergirls in Austin, will host the #15 ranked Duke City all stars
of Albuquerque, New Mexico. TRD Saddletramps take on the Duke City
Munecas Muertas, who have previously beaten Rocky Mountain and Pikes
Peaks all star squads this year, at Blade World located at I-10 and
Grant in Tucson. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the game scheduled to
start at 7 o'clock. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the gate.
Music will be provided by Lemmonman, and the D.J. will be Andrew

The Big Easy Rollergirls will present its third bout of the season at
Mardi Gras World, 233 Newton Street at Algiers Point. It will be a
holiday affair as Santa's Little Sleighers and The Tannenbombers vie
for the Glory in Excelsis DERBY! There will be live music by The
Vettes, rebel-rousing by MC Trachiotomy. New Orleans BERG mascot
Ruthie the Duck Girl will have her trademark sack of gifts for the
crowd. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. VIP is $20
in advance and $25 at the door. Kids 12 and under tickets are $6.
Doors open a 6 p.m. with the bout scheduled to start at 7 o'clock.

The City of Angels Derby Girls will travel up the California Coast to
lay the Central Coast Roller Derby in Thousand Oaks, California. The
event will be held at Thousand Oaks Rollerdome located at 950 Avenida
de los Arboles in Thousand Oaks. Tickets are $14 with children under
10 years of age free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the bout

The Philly Roller Girls present their holiday formal dance and awards
ceremony, the Snow Brawl! Food will be provided by Whole Foods and
Sabrina's Cafe. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the
firemen's charity, Hero Thrill Show. The event will be held at the
German Historical Society, 6th & Spring Garden. Be sure to "Dress to
impress!" Music will be provided by DJs Psydde Delicious and Vixen
Van GoGo. Tickets are $10 from any Philly rollergirl or at the door.
It is entirely possible there is another event going on, but I don't
have easy access to that information right now. If anyone has any
