The Rocket Race is an annual puzzle race in San Diego, California - combining clue solving with navigating around town. This group is for race organizers, race participants, and other fans of puzzle races, road rallies, photo scavenger hunt races in the Southern California region.

• Bounty Hunt at Star Wars Celebration V - Orlando, August 2010. Star Wars-themed puzzle solving in a foot race around the convention grounds.
• San Diego Rocket Race - annually in November since 2006 - Driving/foot race around San Diego with sci-fi themed clues.
• UCSD Photo Race - photo scavenger hunt at UC San Diego, May 23, 2009.
• UC Celebration Photo Race 2008 - 2011 - photo scavenger hunt in University City (San Diego neighborhood) on 4th of July as part of the UC Celebration
• Clue solving on-foot games at ConDor, a San Diego science-fiction/fantasy convention based on different themes: "The Greatest ConDorian Hero" (Feb. 2009), "Death Race 2008" (Mar. 2008), "Wizard's Quest" (Mar. 2007).
• The Kessel Run at Star Wars Celebration IV - May 2007 - Foot race around the grounds of Star Wars Celebration IV, at LA Convention Center with Star Wars themed clues.
