We offer a variety of challenging rides leaving from the Ibis Hotel (northwest corner of Huay Kaew Road and Canal Road) or Dunkin Donuts (southwest corner of Huay Kaew Road and Canal Road) five or six days a week heading north, south and west with a rare foray east. Sometimes, flat, sometimes hilly, sometimes mountainous, and sometimes the amount of climbing is just plain stupid. But we always have fun. The ride start times are determined by the weather and the distance, but are usually at 8:00am. Wednesday morning's ride is usually the climb up Doi Suthep, leaving from Dunkin Donuts at 6:45am. There is often a Wednesday afternoon session on the velodrome too.
There is a more mellow ride that leaves from the Ibis Hotel (NW corner of Canal and Huay Kaew Road). Also 5 or 6 days a week, these rides are usually pretty flat with a cruising speed of about 27-30 km/h for a 3 - 3 1/2 hour ride, occasionally longer.
Many rides are posted to the group, but we'd love more rides and more variety. If you would like more info, contact Jeff at JeffVgl@yahoo.com or just click below to join the e-group!
