That picture is perfect. Very spirit of Riverside. But I couldn't find
Sean, and there's only a wee hint of Nilson.
Speaking of perfect, we had a tremendous 4-on-4 at lunch today. Cloudy,
field just wet enough for me to fall down on one cut, and a great group:
Red John, Walter, Faris, and Thad in white; Nilson, Benson, Charlie and
yours truly in dark.
It was quintessential Riverside. You put it up, and you know a friend of
yours is going to catch it. He may be on offense, he may be on defense,
but he's your brother. And the ground is often your brother, too.
Everyone played great (OK, Thad played like one of us, and we know he's
capable of much more), and I don't know about your life, but my life
really doesn't get any better.
Riverside is nirvana.

PS: Special mention to Faris Abou Grab-- I've never seen him throw that
well. And he did catch two hammers, but neither was in the end zone. So
his streak of consecutive hammers dropped for scores is intact.
