Riverside,
Pickup had 8 total players with 3 on 3 Hotbox at 9:30 for 1.5 hours
with a 30 minute pregame warm up. If you slept in or said no reason
to go you missed Chris, Rob and Paul (3 Grand Masters) running with
the young kids. It was hot at 10:00 when we started and ran hotter
every few minutes. The game was called due to exhaustion at
11:30. (Of course Chris and Rob were planning to run sprints at Martin.)
Everyone had a blast. Wish you were there.
Next week you will miss the old guys as some 12-15 Austinites
fly/drive/bike to Denver for the first ever UPA Grand Masters
Nationals Championship. 20 Teams from all over the US and Canada
will be in attendance while the first ever UPA Masters Women's
Championship has 16 teams coming from all over to the same location.
Peace,
Big, Bald, Denver Bound Paul
