Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame Dinner/fundraiser
"The Doctor Is In"
The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum (PWHF) is pleased to announce that John Pantozzi will be presenting a PWHF Fundraiser on Saturday October 7, 2006. This dinner event will feature the legendary "Dr. D" David Shults. Joining Dr. D will be the one and only manager of the Four Horsemen, J.J. Dillon. We have also confirmed that Johnny Valiant will perform a portion of his brilliant one man show "An Evening With Johnny Valiant".
Shults is considered by many wrestling observers to be the most controversial figure in the history of professional wrestling. His altercation with John Stossel on 20/20 a number of years ago was well documented. Mr. Stossel has been invited also. J.J. Dillon had a long and storied career , first as a wrestler, then as a manager of Champions and then behind the scenes during one of the most explosive times in modern wrestling history. He is also a best selling author. This event will be an opportunity for the fans to meet with one of the greatest heels of our time and one of the greatest managers of our time, as well as obtain autographs, take photos and mingle with a number of legendary wrestlers from the past including former World Tag Team Champion Luscious Johnny Valiant, former World Light Heavyweight Champion Angelo Savoldi, Jumping Joe Savoldi, Irish Davey O'Hannon, Hillbilly Cousin Luke, the First Lady of Wrestling Missy Hyatt, Joe "Butcher Brannigan" Nova, Tony Cosenza, The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz, Manuel Soto, Tom "Crusher" Townsend, Tito Torres, Al Samson Vass, Mr. Memory Lane Joe Franklin and his sidekick & producer Rich Orenstein and more local legends. This event will be filmed by RF Video for future release.
