No disqualifications. Falls count anywhere. Anything goes. And when you consider that Rodz has, and will continue to do anything to retain his title, you can be sure that he is going to pull out all the stops to keep the belt wrapped around his waist! Meanwhile, Maverick is on a mission to become the youngest NYWC Champion ever, and with his amazing skills and
the huge amount of support he receives from the fans, there may be no stopping this shooting star. So bring your friends, bring your kids, and bring your camera... because on September 23, you will no doubt see one of the most emotional, exciting and intense championship matches in the history of the NYWC. The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum (PWHF) is pleased to announce that John Pantozzi will be presenting a PWHF Fundraiser on Saturday October 7, 2006. This dinner event will feature the legendary "Dr. D" David Shults. Joining Dr. D will be the one and only manager of the Four Horsemen, J.J. Dillon.
Shults is considered by many wrestling observers to be the most controversial figure in the history of professional wrestling. This is his second appearance in the last fifteen years. J.J. Dillon had a long and storied career , first as a wrestler, then as a manager of Champions and then behind the scenes during one of the most explosive times in modern wrestling history. He is also a best selling author. This event will be an opportunity for the fans from the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania areas to meet with one of the greatest heels of our time and one of the greatest managers of our time, as well as mingling with a number of legendary wrestlers from the past including former World Tag Team Champion Luscious Johnny Valiant, former Light Heavyweight Champion Angelo Savoldi, Jumping Joe Savoldi, Irish Davey O'Hannon, Hillbilly Cousin Luke, Pete Sanchez, Joe "Butcher Brannigan" Nova, Tony Cosenza, Al Samson Vass, Tito Torres, Rich Orenstein and more local legends.
