This list was originally created to discuss the Richmond Renegades, an ECHL franchise that existed from 1990 through 2003. From 2003 through 2006, the list primarily discussed the Richmond RiverDogs, a member of the United Hockey League (UHL). The list now discusses the SPHL Richmond Renegades, pro hockey teams (past, present, and future) in the Richmond, Virginia metro region, including RiverDogs and Renegades alumni.
