Hi everyone,

I set up the sign up for the next archery class in the database
section. The class will be on Monday January 28th at 11:00 AM. Sorry
for the delay in responding to everything. Things got busy.

Overall, I thought the first class went well. I doubt the Gander
mountain people would be willing to have us bring in someone else to
teach the class itself, but maybe the SCA longbow person could help
out or we could have them come in after the class and work with anyone
who wants to stay late. The Gander Mountain setup might not be ideal,
but I don't know of any alternative sites. Maybe the SCA guys can
give us a few ideas for alternative practice sites.

In regards to the instruction, should I request that the class be
split up by ages? Also, could they have used our practice time more
effectively? For example, would it be better if they had us line up,
and then provided individual instruction while the other students
watched? It seems like that would work well if they continue to let
us stay after class and practice in their facility.
