Good Point, Becky! I completely agree!
I spoke with a friend of mine yesterday who is active in the SCA
(Society for Creative Anachronism) and she told me that there are
folks in the local SCA who (obviously) specialize in long bow archery
and who teach kids at events. She said they would probably love to
teach a class to home school kids, but just need a place to teach.
Perhaps we can bring the two together and see if one of the SCA
teachers would teach a class at Gander Mountain? That way it would be
someone who knows how to teach long bow specifically TO KIDS.
I will pursue this if anyone is interested.

himself and is ready for more. The one thing I would like to see for
future classes is more individualized time with the instructor. Even
if it is just 2 minutes here and there so that the kids aren't just
shooting but being instructed at shooting correctly each time.
