What is RetroVelo?

Well, here is what it's not:
It's not about riding retro bikes (even if some of us do). It isn't about old wool jerseys (we do sort of like that too). It's not about outmoded training techniques or doing things the old way (even if we might...) It's not about being grouchy (even though we are).

So, what is it?
RetroVelo is about reviving a grass roots cycling community in the North Jersey, Metro NY area.

The purpose of the group is to offer the greater cycling community a free and open forum to communicate where group members are free express opinions, just shoot the bull, keep in touch, organize across club boundaries or whatever (within reason). The RetroVelo Yahoo group is not affilitated with any particular club but is intended to cross club boundaries.

Ground Rules for the RetroVelo Yahoo group:
* You are personally responsible for what you post. Keep it civil.
* Have fun riding your bike as much as possible.
* Share your cycling passion with your friends.

Please feel free to invite friends from any club to join the RetroVelo Yahoo group.
