The purpose of the RetroList is to help Retrosheet run a little smoother. Retro volunteers can use the list to communicate with each other about anything Retro-related, for example:
1) obtaining information about specific games (does anyone have The Sporting News
boxscore for PHI4205172?)
2) play syntax for unusual plays
3) official scoring rules
4) good sources for locating game accounts,
5) scorebooks or other items containing game accounts up for auction (to prevent Retrosheet members from bidding against each other, or to "cover" the auction if the finder cannot do so),
6) what games are missing from the Retrovaults and what methods are working to locate those games,
7) and general information that would be of use to a volunteer when working in a Retrocapacity.
