Yes the shares in the Packers have no monetary value but in essence they are own by the fans and certain sentimental feelings and great fan loyalty comes along with that. I think it would be great that the Reds would do something like that but unlikely is it going to happen. The news of the team I hear is uplifting and renews the faith in the team but I'll withhold final call until I actually get to see a game.

Another of my interest in this life is trains, that is why I came through your Dakota area last October, I had been in Montana following a steam train for two weeks. Anyway, I travel on Amtrak from Cincinnati to California to see my son and family and coming back in Jaunary had an interesting conversation with a couple who had a room across from me. They were season ticket holders for the Packers, we were discussing the NFL when they told me about their tickets. They also told me they were part owners of the team, the fans owned the Packers, they had a couple of shares. I thought at that time wouldn't it be neat if the Reds were owned by the fans and I had one measly share of the team I had followed faithfully over these many years. I could see the pride in those people when they told me they had those shares of the Packers. I would feel the same way if I had a share or two of the Reds. Michael, I don't know how you feel or anybody else on this list but I am really upbeat about this team and the news from spring training has certainly been positive to keep that feeling going.

Alright but to bad control of the team isn't going to be effected. I'd say
pass the hat around Virgil and we'll get in on that action then.
