CAROLINA 1, MONTGOMERY 3: RHP Luis Montano (0-6) started for Carolina and was solid in the losing effort, allowing 2 unearned runs on just 2 hits over 6.2 innings (2bb, 4k, 1hb)...the Mudcats could manage only 1 run on 4 hits.

SARASOTA: The SaraReds were rained out last night vs Charlotte...they’ll make it up tonight as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5pm (two 7-inning games).

LANSING 5, DAYTON 1: The Dragons dropped their 6th straight...Dayton scored a run on 6 hits...RF Tony Brown (1r) and SS Miguel Rojas (1rbi) led the offense with 2 hits apiece...LHP Justin Walker (0-2) started for Dayton and allowed 3 runs (2er) on 7 hits in 4.2 innings (0bb, 7k)...LHP Shea Snowden gave up 1 hit and 2 unearned runs over 4.1 innings of relief (0bb, 4k).
