FARM REPORT LOUISVILLE: The Bats topped Scranton/WB 7-5 on Sunday. Michael Griffin belted a 3-run homer and RF Darnell McDonald (2-for-4, double, 3 rbi) added a 2-run bomb to lead Louisville’s 9-hit, 7-run attack. CF Drew Stubbs went 2-for-5 with a run scored. RHP Ramon Ramirez started for the Bats and allowed 5 runs on 7 hits in 3.2 innings (4bb, 3k). RHP Robert Manuel (3-2) earned the win with 3.0 perfect innings of relief (4k). RHP Josh Roenicke notched his 6th save (0.2ip).

CAROLINA: The Mudcats won for the fourth-straight time and for the 10th time in 11 games with a 10-2 victory over Tennessee. Chris Heisey is proving why he’s the best hitter in the Southern League (and possibly in the entire universe). He had 3 hits for the third-straight game. Todd Frazier added 3 hits. Alexander Smit pitched 5.0 shutout innings.

SARASOTA: The Reds fell to Daytona, 11-3. RHP Luis Montano (4-5) started for Sarasota and was reached for 5 runs on 6 hits in 4.0 innings. Sarasota mustard 3 runs on 8 hits and couldn’t ketchup. Devin Mesoraco ripped 2 doubles. Justin Tordi (2-for-3) homered onto the infield of the Daytona International Speedway. Yonder Alonso went 1-for-3 with a walk and has now hit safely in 14 straight games (17-47, .362).

DAYTON: Cedar Rapids’ 5-run 5th inning proved fatal for Dayton's 7-4 loss. RHP Lance Janke (1-3) started for the Dragons and allowed 6 runs on 10 hits in 5.1 innings (3bb, 4k, 2hr) to suffer the loss.
