Hello Riders of the RMCCC.  A few news updates now that race season is almost upon us.

1.  The first race weekend is September 5-7th (Labor Day Weekend).  Endurance racing will take place in Wyoming with a XC, ST and Super D.  Your conference directors (Spencer and Anne) will be there to hand out season numbers, and answer any questions you have. All riders must have a collegiate license which you should purchase ahead of time online at www.usacycling.org for $30.

Gravity racing will be at Sol Vista as part of the MSC race series.  There is a MX on Saturday and a Downhill on Sunday.  Collegiate race results will be pulled out of the overall results and you will be given collegiate points based on your position against the other collegiate riders in your category. Be SURE to sign in as collegiate at registration or we won't be able to process your results!

2.  Anne will be hosting an officiating clinic on Saturday night in Wyoming.  Any riders wishing to get their level C officiating license (and be able to officiate for their home races ) will need to attend.  The clinic is free, will take about 3 hours and will start around 6pm (location to be announced).  As a level C official you can work mtn and road races for $$ and HUGE prestige!  Please let Anne know if you will be attending the clinic.

3.  As a change to the race calendar,   GRAVITY FINALS will be last weekend in September in Winter Park.  CU is hosting a XC, ST and Downhill there.  If you are going to nationals you must race at Gravity Finals!

4.  ENDURANCE FINALS will be the first weekend in October in Grand Junction, hosted by Mesa State.  There will be a XC, ST and DS race.  All riders who want to race endurance at Nationals must attend this race.  The DS will count towards overall gravity champion and awards for gravity and endurance champions will be given this weekend.

That's all for now.  Feel free to contact Anne or Spencer if you have any questions and check out the RMCCC website (www.rmccc.org) for race flyers and other information.

Cheers

Anne Spalding RMCCC - Co Director
