Everyone:

Just a reminder that the conference Annual Meeting is tomorrow. We will be
discussing conference schedule, rules, and racing procedure as well as anything
else people would like to bring to the floor. I hope you can all make it. I
will be sending out an agenda a little later today.

You should have received a copy of a conference rules document, which were
derived only from existing rulebooks. These are taken directly out of the most
recent rules. The document is written as an addendum to the national rules,
which in most cases defines the general rules we work under. The additional
RMCCC document describes our conference specific rules developed to date. At the
meeting I will explain how they were drafted in more detail. All rules with
respect to races, conference scoring and organization were taken from existing
rules and therefore are already standing rules in the conference. I added one
rule describing the conference annual meeting since our conference currently
runs its meeting contrary to National rules by meeting in the spring. I also
added one rule defining the difference between an "event" and a "race" for the
purposes of the rules, since such a clarification was missing. The new document
also lists the points tables I use for scoring the conference. any questions or
