Hello RMCCC,
There is lots of info in this document, please read, pass onto your clubs, and respond as needed.

0. Results:  Results for each race will be posted on USACycling.org and on rmccc.org (with division standing and points).  Results are final Thursday of the week they are posted.  It is your responsibility to check online results and make sure they are correct and email me with any corrections before Thursday.  (Results from the CSU race will not be final till next Thursday as division standings are not yet posted on RMCCC).

1. Licenses and Upgrades (AGAIN).  You must have a current collegiate license with your CORRECT category in order to race. It is best if you purchase this license online (www.usacycling.org ).  After purchasing your license, request an upgrade (All new licenses are automatically given a D category).   If you are upgrading to C or B for men and B for women in the mountain categories, this upgrade should happen automatically.  If you are upgrading to A, you must submit results (either two top 5 finishes in B or Sport, or current Expert USAC license ) and then this upgrade must be approved by a USAC representative.  After receiving your upgrade, print your current AUTHORIZATION TO RIDE and bring it to the race.  Last weekend LOTS of riders were allowed to race without having the proper category.  This WILL NOT happen this weekend.  Get your upgrades!!!

2.  Super D races for the RMCCC conference will count towards team conference points only.  They do not count for upgrades or qualifications for nationals.

3.  To qualify for nationals you must complete three races (or one race and conference finals) as an A racer in your discipline (either gravity or endurance).  Conference finals for Gravity are at FLC on October 4th and 5th. Conference finals for Endurance and Team are at Mesa on October 11th and 12th

4.  We need to vote on when to have our conference meeting.  Either at FLC on October 4th or at Mesa on October 11th.  Please email me if you feel strongly either way.

5.  The CU race has changed it's venue's be sure to download the new flyer.

6.  Track nationals is this weekend in Colorado Springs.  GOOD LUCK TO ALL RMCCC RACERS

7.  Colorado needs more mountain bike officials.  I will run a category C clinic at one of the races if there is interest.  This is a 2 hour class that qualifies you to officiate at races (and get paid).   If anyone is interested, please email me.

8.  Hmm... that's all I have for now.  If you have concerns, or ideas of how to make our conference better - be sure to email me or Spencer.   Also, if anyone is taking good pictures from the races and wants them on the rmccc web site - send them to me.

See you at the races
