I cordially invite you as a collegiate team
or individual to the Tour of the Red River Gorge, http://www.cyclethegorge.com/; a two-day, three-stage omnium event that is part of
the Lance Armstrong Junior Olympic Race Series held in Kentucky, June
14-15.
There are several exciting parts of this
race. The event serves as a selection event for several Junior and U23
categories to attend Worlds, National Talent ID camps, and a European Race
Camp. Thus some of the best young riders will be in attendance for
this event. In addition to selection component, the race offers Collegiate
Open categories for the ITT, Road Race, a twilight Crit and best of all;
a Collegiate Recruiting Open House scheduled for Saturday
afternoon. There will be snacks and beverage provided at the Open
House and the collegiate races are open to all collegiate categories.
I, Daniel Matheny-National Collegiate Cycling
Manager, will be on hand to present what Collegiate Cycling is all about and
answer questions. Then participants will have an opportunity to meet
individually with the collegiate representatives in attendance. We encourage
you to bring information about your college club to present to Juniors and
their parents.
If you have any questions or would like to
RSVP a spot for the Open House, please be sure to contact the race organizers
at raceinfo@... or
dmatheny@....
See
you in KY,
Daniel
