Hi everyone:
A few things to take care of:
1) Our annual meeting will take place in the usual location- Longmont
Travelodge, Feb 7th from 1pm -5 pm. I will be sending out an agenda and
suggested rulebook to be discussed in the next week or two.
2) United is offering a team reservation that can be made to Road nats
in one person's name WITHOUT team names necessary so that the
reservation can be made before teams are chosen, or substitution can be
made. Se the attached note below.
3) Nats website is at http://www.woollymammothpromotions.com/
See you on the 7th!

Subject: United Airlines Group Discounts to Collegiate Nationals - For
Distribution to Conference Mail Lists
Dear Conference Directors, Team Directors and Student Athletes:
United Airlines has a group reservation system in place which will allow
collegiate cycling teams to make advance reservations for 10 or more
team members/staff traveling at the same time, without having to name
the passengers at the time of reservation. This will allow larger teams
to purchase tickets in advance at better prices, before the exact team
has been chosen, as well as allowing smaller teams to take advantage of
the group discount. (consider partnering with another team in your area
to make the minimum if you don't have enough riders.) Of course all NCCA
licensed riders may fly their bikes for free on United using the
vouchers available on-line through the USA Cycling webpage ($150 value
roundtrip). The designated Team leader, manager or coach coordinating
travel should contact the United Airlines Olympic Travel desk at
1-800-841-0460 and ask for either Arlene or Janet. These agents will
explain in detail the process required to reserve the seats. Madison is
served by smaller aircraft and thus flights could fill up fast: First
come, first serve! If you have questions, problems or need further
assistance, feel free to give me a call. Please forward this message to
the appropriate mail lists or team leaders in your area. Thanks!
