FYI. The crit course for Nationals has been modified slightly from what's on
the website due to community issues--and I think it's a better course for the
Nationals. The 180 degree turn has been taken out. So, it's a figure-8 course
.9 miles long.

Also, I want to let all of you know that the host Hotel--the Hilton has cut
riders an amazing deal on rooms. $109 per night with no charge for extra
occupancy (up to 4 welcome). That includes a buffet breakfast (not just a
continental breakfast), bike wash/mechanic's area, and free shuttle service
around town. The hotel is located about a mile and a half from both the Road
race start finish and the crit course start finish on a bike path that leads
right to the road race course and just a short trip through campus to the crit
