Hi RMCCC-
Here's some good news for all of you race promoters. We have
petitioned the Colorado Velodrome Association (CVA), our USAC local
association, for some financial support to offset the cost of
officials, and they have accepted our request.
This means that race promoters will be granted $200 per weekend to
offset the cost of hiring officials. For simplicity's sake, RMCCC
will accept the lump sum of this grant from the CVA and then waive the
race promotion fee ($200) that is charged per weekend.
To be eligible for this funding, you need to adhere to the
requirements set for permitting and flyer submission. You must submit
your permit requests and flyers before the deadlines in order to
receive the financial support. USAC has these rules in place for good
reason. They ensure that races are planned well in advance and that
all of our racers have information about upcoming events so they can
plan ahead.

this. She will be sending out lots of information soon that should be
very helpful to everyone — racers, promoters, coaches, volunteers,
mascots... you name it.
