Hello RMCC,
I hope everyone is getting excited for the upcoming
NCCA road season.
Attached you will find the most recent NCCA rule book
changes for 2006. These crule changes will take
affect for our road season. Please share with your
team mates.
Please note one of the biggest changes is the team
qualification criteria for nationals. Qualification
is now based upon A team points only. Conference
rankings are still based upon all riders' (A,B,C)
points.
The catalyst for this rule change is to help make
Nationals a safer experience for all racers. The
justification was that large 'amateur' (B and C) teams
were qualifiying A teams that were not experienced
enough to participate at Nationals in a safe manner.
Please feel free to forward any comments to me and I
can pass those along to my fellow board members.
Thank you,
Brian
