Hello Brandon,
Here's a best quess of how to qualify for Nats. Steve
can confirm when he returns.
Per last year's team RMCC alottment, only four team's
qualified for each Division,D1 and D2. Mines is D2. If
all stays the same for this year's alottment for RMCC,
4 teams, Mines will have to be ranked at least forth
in Conference points in the D2 category after
Conference finals at Fort Lewis.
Currently, the following schools are D2 in the RMCC
conference, USAFA, UNC, UCHSC, CC, Red Rocks, Western,
NMSU, FRCC, UCCS, ACC, CSM.
I beleive if the first ranked four teams do not take
full squads, then the next teams down the list can take
riders until our allocation is filled.
Currently, CSU and WY (this weekend) races have past,
so the only race weekends left are Mesa, New Mexico,
CU, and finals at Fort Lewis. For riders to be
eligible, the must have started at least individual
three races (some weekends have more than one race).
Additionally, your riders must have have raced an A
race before going to Nationals.
Here's the link to the rule book, you should page
through it to verify the rules...

I suggest getting your team out to the races soon to
get points so you can be assuredof qualifying a full
team. Here's where CU posts the race flyers for each
race as they are distributed...
