Hi Ken:

In response to your inquiry about DH races this season, I've forwarded
my answer to the group as likely others have similar concerns. As far
as I know, in addition to CSU's race, there will also be DH events at
Mesa and Durango. Laramie will not have any DH events (they tried but
could not get permission to use the ski resort they hoped to use just up
the road from the event Saturday) and I've heard no word on the Golden
race.

All DH/DS racers should aware that this year, for the first time, we
will be keeping two separate points totals for the conference, one for
XC/Short-track events and another for DH/DS. Conference champions will
be crowned in both categories- XC and DH. We will no longer include DH
points with XC points. Overall school championship points will be
slightly modified, with point totals depending on the sum of points
across DH/DS points totals and XC/ST points totals.

I am a DH Racer from CSU.

Do you know how many DH races we are going to have
this season before Nationals?

With my DH bike as my only bike I do not want to be
disqualified from Nationals from not doing enough
races.
