Good Afternoon,
Thanks to everyone who came to the planning meeting in December. Here is
the schedule along with some notes/reminders:
Schedule: Attached is the schedule of spring Rocky Mountain Collegiate
Conference road racing, with some additional USCF and NORBA events added
during off weekends. The Fall MTB schedule is not completed. Could each
of you planning on hosting a fall MTB event re-confirm your dates and
contact information for the fall season, and we will re-circulate an
updated schedule as it develops. (I know you gave me tentative dates,
but I want to re-confirm.) Please note that Nats will NOT be in CT as
previously announced. It will be a little closer to home, and will be
announced by Friday. If you have any changes to any of the information
listed on the schedule, let me know.
Licenses: Reminder that the Collegiate license is available for purchase
on-line for $30, good for all COLLEGIATE racing for the year. Your USCF
or NORBA license will be an add-on purchase to the Collegiate license
for $30 more. Your team must be current to attach when purchasing the
collegiate license. Remember to buy the collegiate license first and
attach to your team before purchasing any other license. You can still
attach to a trade team or club different from the school team on those
other licenses.
Club Renewals: Your club contact listed on-line may renew the team when
they log on to their account at www.usacycling.org If you need to change
the contact you will have to renew with PDF downloadable Club form.
Race Permits: On-line permitting is not working quite yet, may be
another 6 weeks. In the meantime all your forms are available for
download and fax-in under the Club tab on the homepage. Remember to
submit your permits to Tom Vinson at least 6 weeks prior to your event,
(Tom Fax 719-268-1466) and if you have any questions about the race
permits, officials or other, call Tom at that same number, 719-268-1466.
A new Conference Director will be announced by Friday as well. I look
forward to seeing everyone in New Mexico in February - Until then -
Happy New Year!
